I found an expensive one online and wrote to the maker to ask about a warranty and they didn't even bother to answer. I found this manuel can opener and thought it looked like it would last. It is now attached to my kitchen work bar and it is great--the hand crank is easy to use and doesn't hurt my arthritis. The quality is way better than what I expected. This arrived as promised and I love it.
