It takes a lot of pressure to push the blade through the lids and to get the stupid thing started. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful By P. Planters (IN USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hb Compact Can Opener Black (Kitchen) I love this can opener. This is the second one that I have bought to give as gifts to family members. This can opener keeps on going, and going, and going. I have had one for over a year and have only charged it 2 times in all that time. It is compact and sits on my counter taking up very little space. You could also store it in a drawer and charge when necessary with its AC adapater charger. Cans are opened easily and cleanly from the smallest to the very largest with the flick of a lever on the top. The can opener dances around the can while the can remains stationery. Easy to clean and store. I recommend this can opener highly. 11 of 12 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Hb Compact Can Opener Black (Kitchen) I read a lot of reviews on this can opener before I made the purchase. I was already upset that when I opened the package the magnet was missing and the company wanted to charge ME for a new one. Then I tried and tried to get that thing on my large can of dog food to get it open and no matter how I tried it, it just wouldn't go on it. Folks weren't stretching the truth when they said you had to get the trick to it. I am sorry, but I am not interested in having to learn the trick to it. My gizmo was so simple, just take it off the charger, put it on the can, and... Read more |
