Having rhuematoid arthritis and the resulting stiff, sore hands regularly, I had tried several other auto openers like Handy Can. they all ended up in my 'learn it the hard way drawer'. This one is different. First, IT WORKS! Add batteries. Place on can. Press and hold until opener fits to can. stand back and wait. My gift opener was recently knocked into a sink of dish water. It no longer works, I am here to order my second Handy Can - an now essential tool in my kitchen. Erez "mobile lover" (usa) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Handy Can Opener (Kitchen) I was surprised to see how well this little cheap gadget operates. Just put it on the can. Press the button for a few seconds until it "grabs" the can and let it do the rest. Quick, no mess and the can is opened in a way that doesn't leave the dangerously sharp ends.
